Invitation to fly Vintage Model Aircraft at Beverley

The Beverley Westwood Flyers have invited any Vintage Model Aircraft (RC only) enthusiasts to join them at their

flying site at Beverley Racecourse. Flying will take place most weekends, weather permitting and all are welcome.

Simply turn up and fly "off-the-peg".

If using 35 Meg, odd frequencies are desirable.

Their site is public, comprising a 60 x 80 yard, mown strip, running East-West. This is set within 600 acres of pasture

land. There are no serious obstructions to flight. the strip is located opposite the main doors to Beverley Racecourse

and is approx 80 yards from the road's edge, so access is good. If necessary vehicles can be driven into the pits area

for unloading. The only rule applicable to the site is, "Don't do nuthin' dumb. Aside from that enjoy yourself.

You are advised to contact: -

David Turner on 01430 827328 for more details.
